Girl Scout Partners with Recovery Home to Earn Her Gold Award
To earn her Girl Scout Gold Award, Katherine Giza finished and furnished a portion of Monarch Meadow’s basement, creating a dual meeting and fitness area.
More than $10,000 was raised to finish the 1300 sq ft space, which can now be used for personal and community recovery meetings, visitation, exercise and recreation. The project was completed in May of 2021. Thank you to everyone who donated in support of this project!

Ohio Recovery Housing Newsletter April 2022 also recognizes Katherine’s achievement!
