This June, Red Tulip Project Program Director Kristy Mowry graduated from the Leadership Geauga Signature Adult Program along with 39 other community leaders.
Leadership Geauga is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been building bridges between the public, private, and non-profit sectors with annual programs that inform, educate, connect, and inspire seasoned and future decision-makers of Geauga County for the last 30 years.
The Signature Adult Program is a 10-month course during which participants examine the history of Geauga County, its educational systems, human service offerings, health and safety systems, government interactions, business models, agriculture diversities and arts and leisure activities. Additionally, the program includes eight days traveling throughout the county, experiencing Geauga’s major community economic influencers. Upon completion, graduates serve as catalysts in building strong organizations and vibrant communities. Leadership Geauga programs combine relationship building, leadership development, personal and professional growth, and community education.
The graduation presentation of diplomas and celebration was held at Meadow Ridge Events in Windsor. Executive Director Meredith Ashkettle reflected on the experiences, organizations, and community leaders that shaped the class, while 2026 Emerald Leader and alumna Ann Blair encouraged continued engagement and service. Alumna and DiSC facilitator Lori Gorrell also shared remarks on using DiSC insights and relationships as the graduates continue to grow as leaders.
Congratulations to Kristy and her classmates on their achievement!
