Girl Scout partners with Recovery Home to earn her Gold Award
A Level 2 recovery home is an important part of a person’s journey to discovering a new sober and productive life. A safe, drug-free and supportive environment makes a difference by promoting long term success in maintaining sobriety.
The Project->The project will be finishing part of the basement into a multi-purpose room at Monarch Meadow recovery house in Geauga County.
The Purpose ->The multipurpose room will be used for personal & community recovery meetings, visitation, excercise and recreation.
The Process->Divider wall & door, Drop ceiling w/lights, waterproof flooring, painting, and furnishings.
Thank you for your support and donations for the Girl Scout Gold Award Project. Over $10,000 was raised.

Life Recovery is a co-ed Christian 12-step Bible-based support group at Horizon’s Church using the Life Recovery Bible. It is for an adult who is struggling with addiction or life patterns that become obsessive or problematic to the point where it interferes with his/her daily life.
Red Tulip Beyond-is an outreach program in which a staff person who is a certified peer support worker gives support, encouragement, and hope to a female struggling with opioid or stimulant addiction by meeting one on one with her.
Women’s Wellness & Recovery-is an outreach program held at the Geauga County YMCA. It is a 3-month closed support group combining health, wellness, nutrition, exercise, and a Life Recovery 12-step meeting focusing on steps 1-3. The program includes a 3-month membership to the YMCA.
